Summer Chamber Studies at Kent State University, June 20 - 29, 2008
Chamber studies for collaborative piano, string, voice and percussion students

Join us June 20 - 29, 2008, for a 10-day summer program for young musicians aged 10 – 18.

During Summer Chamber Studies, students of all skill levels will study with outstanding teachers and fellow student musicians at Kent State’s Hugh A. Glauser School of Music.

Activities are designed to teach individual and group performance techniques that challenge each student to achieve his or her highest level of musicianship. Students will attend concerts and participate in performance activities, private lessons, technique classes, small chamber ensembles, master classes and theory classes taught by the world-class La Catrina Quartet.

We’re looking for participants who will be motivated, disciplined and comfortable with a significant amount of independence. If you fit that description, complete and submit the downloadable application.

Scholarships are available! For more information or to learn more about the program, call 330-672-4741 or e-mail the program director.
