INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
Your child's safety and security is the highest priority. Participants are housed in locked dorms with trained counselors. You will be able to leave a phone message at the dorm and we'll make sure your child contacts you ASAP. Our instructors and counselors have cleared a background check, as mandated by law. Kent State University has a fully-trained safety force and access to local services.

You will be responsible for providing transportation to Kent State University on Sunday afternoon, and back home at the end of the program on Wednesday. All participants are expected to board on campus, and we do not allow students to keep cars on campus.

The cost of the 11-day program is $1,145 and includes:
Room and board
All classes (see the daily schedule)
Four hours of private instruction
Master class
Concerts
Transportation to field trips
Recreational activities
A concert CD
A t-shirt

Scholarships are available. Application materials will be sent to accepted students.

KEY DATES:
April 25: Application Deadline 

May 14: Notification of acceptance 

June 20: full payment due

July 20: arrive on campus

July 29: gala concert at Severance Hall’s Reinberger Chamber Hall

July 30: Program concludes
